We are looking for a full time Dispatch Coordinator who is a team player that can also work independently. The Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for communicating over the phone and by email between multiple parties, to coordinate the successful delivery of RV's between the USA and Canada.

Regular Duties:
- Answering incoming calls and forwarding non-dispatch related inquiries to appropriate parties;
- Coordinate and communicate dispatch of vehicles;
- Arrange for & forward shipping documentation;
- Communicate the tracking and tracing of goods in transit when required;
- Ensures the respect of load dimensions per dispatch;
- Ensures the respect and management of the drivers' hours of service related to the delivery schedule;
- Ensures the respect and management of the various applicable laws;
- Arranging for RV repairs, shuttles, storage;
- Data Entry & Auditing
- All other related tasks.
Skills & Experience Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, and the ability to accurately record information;
- Ability to listen effectively, clarify information as needed, and convey information in a clear and concise manner;
- Ability to manage priorities according to emergencies and in a fast paced and changing environment;
- Ability to influence positivity, mindfulness and uphold customer service standards with a calm and respectful demeanor;
- Great rigor in terms of follow-up communication and confidentiality;
- Knowledge of Hours of Service in Canada and the USA;
- Geographical knowledge of Canada and USA;
- Several years of clerical, operational or administrative experience related to freight traffic are preferred;
- Intermediate Knowledge of Computers, Email Functions, Microsoft Operating System & Products, Google Products & Services;
- Completion of secondary school is required;
- Minimum 1yr experience in the trucking industry preferred;
- Knowledgeable of applicable transportation safety and compliance rules, laws and regulations is preferred;
- Intermediate Knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets is required.
